Real Utilities is an authorised energy retailer wholly owned by Frasers Property Australia. Real Utilities is currently focussed on providing energy services to customers of Frasers Property Australia and its related entities in the form of renewable energy generation and storage, thermal energy, electricity and gas.
The Real Utilities line of business are currently seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to join the team based in our Rhodes Office. Reporting to the General Manager, the Commercial Manager will be responsible for establishing robust strategies and leading the commercial management of this growing business line.
As the successful applicant, this role will see your responsibilities include:
- Drive decision making using risk management techniques
- Develop business plan and supporting documents for investment review
- Identify and develop strategic growth opportunities
- Develop and manage the business risk register
- Maintain oversight to project financial performance
- Provide advice around commercial and contractual matters
- Provide leadership to a multi-disciplinary team
- Internal and external stakeholder engagement
As the ideal applicant you will possess:
- A relevant tertiary qualification combined with significant experience in a similar commercial focussed role in the energy industry
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
- Demonstrated understanding of economic drivers in the Australian energy market
- Prior experience with embedded networks will be considered highly advantageous
- Demonstrated abilities in change management and continuous improvement
