We are currently seeking experienced Drill Fitters for a new long term project in central Queensland. These positions will be responsible for the maintenance of large rotary blast hole drill rigs and support equipment. Applicants should live within commute distance to the project as it is a residential position meaning successful applicants can be home every night. Initial housing and relocation allowances may be provided for the right applicants.
Position Requirements
- Experience in repairing and maintaining large rotary blast hole rigs preferred.
- Sound knowledge of fault finding and drill rig diagnosis.
- Must have heavy diesel or equivalent trade certification.
- Working knowledge of compressors and hydraulics.
- Ability to pass all medical, drug and alcohol, police and site clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- HR Drivers licence.
- QLD Coal Board Medical and Inductions.
- Working at Heights.
- Air conditioning accreditation.
- First Aid.
