Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking Fixed Plant Fitters to work with an industry leading Iron Ore company based in the Pilbara region of WA. These positions are casual ongoing with the opportunity to go permanent. The successful candidates will work either a 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster, or 8 days on / 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth.
Successful candidates will have experience with the following equipment (or similar size equipment):
- Work on conveyors, screens, crushing plant equipment, ball and sag mills and pumps
- Strip and rebuild cone and jaw crushers
- Submersible, centrifugal, sump and slurry pumps
- Attending to breakdowns and problem diagnosing
- Scheduled maintenance, installations and updated
- Experience with hydraulics and fault finding
Selection Criteria include:
- Have demonstrated experience with Fixed Plant Maintenance
- Hold a valid Senior First Aid, EWP, Working at Heights, Confined Space, Rigging and Dogging
- Forklift and Skid Steer licence desired
- Have solid shift maintenance experience
- Current Australian HR Drivers Licence
- Able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical including Drug & Alcohol screen
- Demonstrated track record of working safely
- Willingness to work night & day shifts
- Provide two contactable referees’
