The South Flank Project is being executed by a fully Integrated Project Team (IPT), jointly established by BHP and Fluor, consisting of employees from both organisations as well as other contracting organisations as applicable. The project has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Principle Contracts Specialist, to work as part of the Integrated Project Team in Perth.

Key responsibilities:

• Management of freight forwarding and heavy haulage tendering and award process.
• Post award management of freight forwarding and heavy haulage contracts.
• Managing a logistics contract in relation to bulk earthworks, SMP, Electrical etc

Technical Capabilities & Competencies:

Qualifications

• Quantity surveyor / construction management / engineering or similar degree.
• Suitable industry experience in contracts management.
• Minimum of 10 – 15 years’ experience within the senior contracts field.

Skills

• Strong background in post award contract management.
• Demonstrated experience with logistics and/ or project execution co-ordination preferred.
• A self-starter and someone who is able to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work either a 15/6 or 20/8 roster. (Roster availability is dependent on the role)
