An International Services Company is looking for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join their team in a remote location in South Australia. Absolutely perfect for those Surveyors who like to fish in their spare time.
About the Company:
This Services Company specialises in the collection and analysis of geospatial data which is then used to identify resources which can be used in real-world time by international organisations and governments alike. They are an award-winning business and they value the fact that its strengths lie within its people.
About the role:
As Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to work with and use the latest Leica Instrumentation from Total Stations, GNSS, TLS, Laser Tackers and Precise Levels for a range of survey tasks from volume reporting to precision machined surfaces to better than 0.1mm. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;
- UAV and conventional stockpile quantity measurement and reporting;
- Stakeout of new or replacement infrastructure;
- As-built surveys;
- Structure monitoring;
- Levelling and precision alignment of plant and infrastructure to sub 0.1mm within the rolling mills using conventional and Laser Tracker techniques;
- Refractory monitoring of the ladles and slagpots;
- Engineering set out and as-built surveys for plant changes and modification;
- Underground service management;
About you:
- Minimum 2 years industry experience
- Strong communication skills
- Client focused service delivery
- Promote and embrace teamwork
- Competency in the application and use of robotic total stations, GPS equipment,
- Exposure to survey and engineering software - particular Surpac, Microstation or AutoCAD, Terramodel or 12D
- Competency in the operation of 4WD vehicles
