We provide rewarding careers for over 700 employees in Australia and are currently seeking a Maintenance Co-ordinator to join our Muswellbrook team (Upper Hunter Sites). 

THE POSITION

The successful applicant will be vested with the responsibility of maintaining and promoting strong relationships with the client and proactively identifying opportunities for growth. In addition, this role will be heavily involved in the achievement of key deliverables, outcomes and defined key performance indicators and be required to drive continuous improvement.

This will include coordinating maintenance planning, site inspections and reporting, shutdown supervision always to the highest standard of quality and safety.

 

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate will be able to fulfil all aspects of the Maintenance Coordinator role. You will be proactive, highly self-motivated, responsible performer and can problem-solve whilst being able to develop and maintain effective working relationships with customers and other supervisors.

 

The successful applicant will have the following key attributes:

  • Supervisor skills within the mining industry, with a strong emphasis on effective people performance management;
  • At least 5 years’ experience in turnkey mining conveyor maintenance;
  • Ability to organize and lead a full shift of workers in daily routine Maintenance, Shutdown and Project work;
  • Plan and schedule weekly works including setting out all resources such as labour, materials, logistics, scaffolding, subcontract services, utilities, etc.;
  • Demonstrate administrative capability, commercial awareness and ability to operate cost-efficiently;
  • Accountable for the daily schedule adherence requirements for maintenance teams;
  • A total commitment to maintaining and improving Health and Safety standards and systems;
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with an enthusiastic outgoing personality;
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage paperwork and reporting requirements to meet client and Company deadlines;
