Monadelphous' Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of mechanical and electrical maintenance services, shutdowns, fixed plant maintenance services, access solutions, dewatering services, specialist coatings, and sustaining capital works.

Due to our continued growth in this area, we are currently seeking experienced and highly motivated HSE Advisors to join our team on upcoming works. These will be FIFO positions from Perth, WA. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for providing HSE advice and activities; as well as ensuring compliance with client and company health, safety and environment standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure all HSE processes and activities comply with relevant HSE legislation and company standards
• Liaise and provide support to site based leadership teams to ensure compliance with relevant HSE laws, regulations, company policies and guidelines
• Provide strategic focus, technical advice and initiatives to improve HSE performance across the business
• Assist management in the investigation of HSE incidents and provide advice on the development of improvement opportunities and recommendations
• Provide coaching and guidance to site based leadership teams
• Delivering timely guidance and feedback to help others strengthen specific knowledge/skill areas needed to accomplish a task

The successful candidate will possess:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, specifically within an operational/shutdown contractor environment (preferably within the mining minerals sector)
• Minimum Certification IV in OHS or higher
• Applied First Aid Certificate
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or similar is preferred
• TapRoot incident investigation training or similar
• Trade based knowledge and an ability to engage and develop relationships with supervision and work crews
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of Australian HSE legislation and industry standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident use of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment

You must be flexible to work ad-hoc roster at short notice, on an as required basis.
