About the role
We are looking for a conference producer to help expand our successful events program. Thomson Reuters organises a number of highly successful events each year, including the Safeguard National Health & Safety Conference and New Zealand Workplace Health and Safety Awards. We are now looking at furthering our event portfolio to other areas of Thomson Reuters’ business.
The Legal Conference Producer’s primary objective is to identify, develop and manage profitable, high quality conferences and events across the Thomson Reuters legal portfolio. This will involve, among other things, researching market trends, engaging with customers to conduct market research on event viability, sourcing and managing relationship with keynote speakers, program writing, event planning and on the day coordination.
About you
We are looking for a professional with a good working knowledge of the Legal industry first and foremost. This will be beneficial in leveraging the right networks in delivering events.
You will also have the following to excel in the role:
- The ability to research and understand information and boil it down to core concepts
- Strong organisation, project management skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- A strong customer focus
- Self motivation and flexibility to adapt to changing environments
