The role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Watch Technician to join our workshop team. This role reports into our Workshop Manager and is required to conduct Partial and Full Services of Quartz and Mechanical movements to a technician level.
Responsibilities
- Quick repairs
- Bracelet intervention or exchange
- Quick battery and pressure test
- Rate/ magnetism check
- Regulation of mechanical movement
- Partial services
- Movement exchange (Quartz, Mechanical and Chronograph)
Skills and experience
- Satisfactory results of a Technician course or in-house training through case preparation
- Ability to perform case services, including resealing and depth testing
- Proven dexterity to complete exchanges to 2 and 3 handed with calendar watches
- Experience of quartz testing
- Ability to read mechanical timing tickets
- Proficient in fault finding
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work to a productivity target in a busy environment
- Customer service focus/ Good communication skills/ Team player
- Quality orientation/ Attention to detail/ Drive for excellence
