The position will suit a mature person looking to expand their skill set while still in a workshop environment. This is a great opportunity for a senior technician to join the team and move into an Inspectors role.
Main duties will be conducting roadworthy inspections on light and heavy vehicles and assisting in the workshop when required.
All dept of Transport training will be provided to a suitably qualified applicant.
The successful applicant will require
- Trade qualifications (Heavy Duty Diesel/Motor Mechanic)
- Previous experience with heavy road transport vehicle repairs.
- HC licence
- DOT Authorised Vehicle Examiner would be an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Computer skills an advantage.
- Police Clearance
- Ability to pass a medical including drug and alcohol screen.
